“Birds of ill Omen” (BOIO) is a theater performance contextualizing and problematizing the concept of medicalization on the Queer body. What are the criteria to maintain the self-identified aspect of the queer community and the medical world in fruitful coexistence? Using the performer’s experience and relation to Queer History, the work will investigate the ambiguity between science and personal definition for Queer people in heteronormative contexts.
